🌄 The Meaning Behind the Name

SHRUQ is a tribute to my roots — to the two people who gave me life, strength, and faith: my parents, Shafaqat and Surryia. I combined their names to create something beautiful and lasting — something that carries their blessings, even when I feel lost.

Coincidentally, “Shurooq” in Arabic also means sunrise. Isn’t that magical? A reminder that every day, no matter how dark it gets, we rise again.

And that’s exactly what SHRUQ stands for — new beginnings, inner fire, and the quiet courage to keep showing up.

✨ My Why: The Story Behind SHRUQ

Like many of you, I didn’t have it easy.

I was once a girl caught between expectations and dreams — studying a subject I didn’t love, fighting health battles, dealing with depression, feeling like I didn’t fit in. But I always knew one thing: I was meant to create.

When I found fashion design, it felt like I had finally come home. I poured my pain, my passion, and my purpose into every sketch. And somewhere between thread and thought, SHRUQ was born.

This brand is a reflection of me, and I hope it becomes a reflection of you too — in all your strength, softness, and story.

There are many sportswear brands out there.
But its not about perfection — it’s about authenticity.

It’s made for:

The girl tying her shoes before sunrise to chase her dream.

Cultural soul — subtle nods to heritage, tradition, and individuality, reminding you where you come from even as you rise.

Colors are chosen not just for trends but for mood:

Blacks and charcoals for power.
Hints of sunrise orange, blush, or neon to reflect energy and renewal.

Everything you wear from SHRUQ is designed to make you feel strong — inside and out.

Right now, SHRUQ is just starting — a small dream with a big heartbeat.

But my vision is clear:

Launch a signature collection of sportswear for movement and mindset — leggings, dry-fit tees, bras, joggers, and more.
Use real people and real stories — not just models — to represent the brand.
Grow a community that supports each other through fitness, fashion, and emotional well-being.
Introduce creative campaigns that blend fashion, art, and identity, like photoshoots, reels, and short interviews with rising athletes and creators.
